This Outback Art Gallery is owned by artist - Sue Hatch. Who has resided in Quorn for 18 years. Sue was once a graphic artist, but now prefers to paint for herself. About 7 years ago Sue and her family bought this old Salvation Army Hall and with a lot of hard work restored it and made it into what you see today. Sue's Art Gallery not only features her work but also the work of the following artists. |
| Richard Musgrave Evans Joan Hancock Gordon Harral John Correll Russell Morrison Bronte Allen Sue Hatch and more.... |
In this Art gallery you will find many scenic views of the beautiful Flinders Ranges many of these in the medium of oils, however there are some awesome photos framed and also some great water colours. Paintings and photos are not the only thing you will find here. This Art gallery also has Redgum furniture, Grecian Urns, some Indigenous art and a mixture of craft items. |
| Most days you will find Sue in the Gallery painting when she is not serving someone. It is quite fascinating to watch someone create works of art. At the moment Sue's favourite stlye of painting is surrealism, with subjects being animals and the Blue Healer is one of her latest. (see above) Her favourite medium is gouche which is type of opaque watercolour so I am told. Being an owner of a Blu Healer I love her latest work! |
